Seattle to Tahoe??

So, anyone driving from Seattle for some boarding in Tahoe (preferably Northstar or Squaw) that needs a driving partner? I promise I don't bite, but I am known a bit as a chatter box so you would have to put up with that. ;)

Not meaning to be sarcastic with this comment, but with all the snow dumping on our heads up here why in the world would anyone want to drive all the way south to the high rent district? Damn, it's too good in our hills to spend driving!!! Dumped all day again today and I'll be up on 49 in the morning....go ride your local hill, girl!! Support the neighborhood businesses...

        Ooooh, road trip!
I'm already down in Tahoe.....ish.....but it sounds like a great trip if you hit White Pass, then Mt. Bachelor, and roll into Tahoe only to do all the mountains one more time on the way home! Tri-State ski trip.....have fun!

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. I just thought it would be fun to see some new locales.

Oh my don't get me wrong about road trips! It's way fun to ride new hills, especially on dump years when everytwhere is loaded up with fluff!! It's just been so damned good locally this year that it's hard to head off and miss it! Silver and Schweitzer are about as far as I have been able to get myself away to!!

Between Seattle & Tahoe, lots of places to ride in between. Besides the Hood area resorts like Timberline, Meadows, etc; there's the little hills like Hoodoo, Mt. Ashland, Mt. Shasta Ski Park. Some of the best days can be found on the little hills mid-week! I've got a huge number of trailmaps on the wall from years of road trips...

So go do it if ya can find a hook up. Drop some new lines on a hill you've never been to. This is an extremely good year for snow all the way down south and you might as well take advantage of it! With global warming and climate change, who knows how long (or if) before we see this kind of season again?
