50'F freaking degrees today, the high 40s yesterday and the last few days before that. Ground has defrosted and it hasn't froze at night for a week. It's freaking ice/slush laced mud under the snowpack (especially where I've snowblown the pack off). Riding spring conditions, corn turns to slush in the sun on the hill then refreezes overnight. Went snowshoeing today up the ridge behind the house looking for lines and even the Atlas' were sinking deep.

Friday in town people were acting like winter's over and it was still February on my calender! Nope, we need raging snowstorms & more powder days...oh pleeeeeze bring in a couple of fronts down from Alaska or those sneaky Yukon express storms. Anybody doing snow dances? lol
