Greetings, all...as i posted a while back, my friend Bob Barci, founder of the Mt Baker Legendary Banked Slalom, & overall snowboarding innovator & fanatic, as well as founding member of the original Mt Baker Hard Core, passed away this past march...one thing Bob carried with him to the end was a passion for turning people onto their first ride. so, in that spirit, I am organizing a weekend long jamboree based around 2 premises: 1-take a friend who's never ridden before riding for the first time & 2-ride alongside of some pros & legends...I am currently working on getting some sponsors & demos set up...I was originally hoping to have it at Mt Baker, but I think the first one may wind up starting at 49 Degrees North this time & spreading outward from there...I ultimately hope to see every area in Washington taking part within 3 years...so far for this one, we have Shawn Farmer on board, & waiting to back from some others...anyone interested in getting onboard should message me...we are gonna have a seriously good time :)
