Yeah, I am in Oregon and have noticed the early dumps at Baker. Certainly going to take advantage of them this year!!! They finally shut down Timberline a couple days ago. They are going to reopen in a couple weeks though....snow please?

49N 49N 49N I'm ready willing and HUNGRY for some fluff. PLEEEASE open early again (last season Nov. 17, year before Nov 10) and over 200" of base by early January. So we all need to do some snow dances!!!

But in the meantime I'm going surfing for a week so I have to think waves. Ha! By the way, STOKED is the correct spelling...

      hehe

      sweet!!

yea, i have never been to baker, but i've seen it a thousand times in my life from vancouver here... also, i thought it was super rad how, navigating through the georgia strait on a boat, going south towards vancouver, you just aim straight for mount baker for hours. she takes you home!!!

    Nelson :)
    Whitewater :)

I was going to move there, but life got in the way. I may be learning to surf sooner then I'd expected. Interior B.C. gave way to southern Cal. Damn. At least I'll be in Vermont for one more season.

Hey Jai, you could always shoot up this way in the winter and get some pow pow days in. Always room for another visiting rider at this house.

Seal my friend, you are now officially on my list.

Thanks man, I'm pleased to hear an invitation like that.

Same goes for you if you end up out East this year, or in Southern Cal next.

I think this year I'm buying a Baker pass, as the Stevens Pass went up so high this year that I might as well upgrade and start riding Baker.

Baker is definitely where it's at, Bro...that's awesome...I'm fixin to be a 49 Degrees North local this season & for the next several years, as I live over here now...but I will always make at least 1 or 2 trips to Baker per season

            a wow!
when i was bussin' cross country, and i got into the foothills of alberta, we could see the mountains, it was the first night of fall, and there was a huge, fresh dump of snow covering the mountains there...

            mm!!

and i was talkin' with a girl from jasper who was really kewl, and she recommended the town & good riding there

You know another Seattle rider who would be stoked to share carpools!
I toyed with a Baker pass too but haven't decided. Also looking at a Meadows pass but it kinda depends if they build up their BX or banked slalom course for the entire season.
